What is a SmartTrac?

SmartTrac is a web-based measurement process used to track both the application and the results of new skills and approaches 60-90 days after the initial training.

Why do we need a SmartTrac?
If we've just implemented training, we need to know what's really going on out there. Are people actually using the new knowledge, skills, and strategies back on the job? Are managers coaching? What are the results? A SmartTrac survey provides:
  • Accountability: We've noticed that, in most companies, there's very little accountability for the actual use of mission-critical skills after the training. Visibility drives accountability.
  • Feedback: Front-line managers need detailed feedback for coaching purposes, including the specific areas where additional support and reinforcement are needed.

How does a SmartTrac work?

The SmartTrac Report
We summarize the data collected from the SmartTrac survey to create a complete picture of both execution and results. Each SmartTrac report includes: scorecards of skills, success stories, and recommendations for coaching.
